RELP (a working title from Relationship, obvs)

  • a database and set of web based interfaces documenting community happenings
  • goal is to capture in one place all the great things that have gone on and are going on
  • this will hopefully show that individual things are not the whole story by a long shot - relationships exist and matter! community is strong.
  • already have an informal pool of sample data waiting for digitizing and have had preliminary discussions with a variety of organizations
  • need some technically skilled individuals, some data processing help, some funding/resources
  • currently studying ThinkMap as one interface

What to host on makeptbo.ca?

    • Transition Town - (already has sites: http://transitiontownpeterborough.ca/ and http://kawarthaloonexchange.ca)
  • locations - maps - Send Kris locations of makerspace related organizations in Ptbo to map out
    • They should be publicly accessible: (B!KE, Artspace (media lab), Sadleir House, Cube), Greenshop (sewing) on Hunter, The bridge youth centre (Bethune & Brock), Peterborough Art School, Fleming Tech Centre (20M skill centre), Endeavour Centre.
